When we feel gratitude for someone, it makes us feel closer and more connected to that person.
Gratitude dissolves the limits that make us feel separated from each other.
- Let down your barriers. If you keep your guard up, then there is no way your child can get close to you even if he/she wants to.
- Open up your heart. Don’t judge before you see with your heart.
- Feel what you haven’t experienced. Here is where you get to let your heart and head feel together. Otherwise, you are closing the doorway to your child’s heart.
