How much of your thoughts are caught up in what you want to change? Regardless of what you want that’s different than what you have, you have to understand how change impacts your greatness.
Every day change presents itself in many ways; from what we put in our bodies to how we spend money to the relationships we nurture.

Choices are made daily with or without much thought. Yet, that’s what continues to shape our day and shape our mind.
Going through the motions doesn’t get us to where we want to go. It keeps us stranded in the norm, the life that you already know.
But if you decide and commit to wanting something different than what you have or who you are, learning to handle the struggles that comes with change is important.
When change occurs, you are not the only one impacted. People around you begin to notice. Some of them may support the change. But others might be a little more cautious in rolling out the welcome mat for you.
“Change impacts your greatness and leaves a mark.”
Why is it that others have a problem with what and how you change?
Change makes other people uncomfortable, especially if they identify with the change you make.
So when you improve and make the changes to reach your goals, change marks you and impacts your greatness.
Now you would expect that change is positive. But when you are in the process of making the change and others begin to question you, change impacts your greatness.
So how do you maximize the greatness of the change and minimize the marks it leaves?
The K.I.S.S. ~ You control only you!
It’s not your job to make everyone comfortable with your change. You want to focus on maximizing your greatness and letting go of what you can’t control. You control only you.
1. Understand that change has a positive and a negative effect. You accept what you wish to claim (the positive) and let the other stuff fall (the negative).
2. Limitations are self-imposed. You don’t have to wear the effect of the change for others. Let them bear that weight for themselves. It’s not up to you to make the transition smooth for them.
3. Replace the mental scar tissue with thoughts of greatness. Keep the eye on the prize. Focus your thoughts on what matter. You matter!! It comes back to what benefits you. Let those who have an issue with your change go through their own process.
You control only you.
