Or maybe you are eating really good foods – eating clean, yet you are still having issues with various symptoms like inflammation, bloating, aches, swelling, brain fog, and migraines.
Food can add to the healthy you, or it can leave you hurting for something different.

1. Food allergies are correlated with the immune system and can have the most serious reaction, including rashes, itching, hives, swelling, and difficulty breathing (anaphylaxis). Some typical examples are egg allergies, peanut allergies. When you have a food allergy, you exhibit a physical reaction.
2. Food intolerances usually are a result of enzyme deficiencies. These intolerances can lead you on a roller coaster ride. The body can react in a variety of ways when irritated by certain foods. Inflammation can show up immediately or take as long as three days. It’s the lion and lamb effect.
3. Food sensitivities, however, can be even more difficult to pinpoint. Tiny amounts of these foods may or may not cause symptoms. But when they do occur, they are definitely a lot less severe than allergies. Yet you can still experience symptoms like inflammation, bloating, brain fog, and digestive problems. It sets your body off the wrong way.
Now when you understand these food sensitivities, you can better manage your health. How do you do that? Well, I have a gut feeling about it….
