In relationships, whether family, work, stranger encounters, or even those sandpaper friends, we need to give credit where credit is due.
Relationships are the most important part of our existence. You can go all the way back to Genesis.

In the beginning, and God saw that it wasn’t good for man to be alone. Hence, He created Eve.
Did you ever think, what if God was lonely?
Let’s go back to the statement, give credit where credit is due.
This statement came from Samuel Adams in a letter dated October 29, 1777; where he wrote, “Give credit to whom credit due.”
Jesus even told his disciples to render unto Caesar what is due to him, and unto God the things that are God’s. (Matthew 22:21)
We can have the tendency to undermine our relationships cutting short the credit — the recognition, the acknowledgement.
And this happens in marriages, with children, even in the workplace. This happens in casual settings among friends.
Why do we as humans have to be so self-centered?
We need to be exalting one another. Lifting each other higher. Helping to raise, elevate and build character.
It’s the little things that count when you create your now. You’re setting out to live, love, and impact.
