752 Peace Be With You

As crazy as life gets, peace be with you. The peace that surpasses all understanding.

It would be nice to think that your day is going to be filled with peace, tranquility, and calmness.

But we are not guaranteed easy days. In fact, last week I received a text that my husband was in an accident. The last thing I felt was peace. Somehow, my heart heard the call, “peace be with you”.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” ~ John 16:33

“You have peace not because you don’t have problems. It’s because the problems don’t have you.”

I wasn’t gong to let the “accident” disrupt what God was in control of. Peace be with you.

And peace isn’t that tranquility of a well-organized systematic home that runs like a well-oiled machine.

It’s the spilt milk, the past due on bills, and the chaos that fills your day with stumbles and troubles. However, God is in control.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” ~ John 14:27

You don’t have to walk in your day feeling compelled to carry the weight of the world. Let God carry your problems. Let God bare your pain. Let God give you peace.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Peace be with you!

“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” ~ John 20:21

What we need to hear is it’s gonna be ok. You’re going to be alright. There’s no reason to stew over what God has control over. God majors in the minors. He’s here to love you, guide you, and protect you.

Walk by faith knowing God’s got YOU!!
