Ready, Set, A.I.M. 5-Day Challenge
The recipe to create happy habits for lasting change.
Stress begins to eat away at your health, sleep, peace, marriage, your job performance, your sanity. It begins to eat away at you.
Stress has a profound impact on you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Some of those effects are:
- headaches
- fatigue
- tummy aches
- anxiety
- anger
- depression
- binge eating
- drug/alcohol/tobacco use or overuse
- lack of clarity
- confusion
- restlessness.
Plus a continued life of stress can lead to serious health problems like diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, depression, and more.
However, there might be a short season in your life that requires you to be overworked and underpaid. And your simple survival tool is “this too shall pass”.
Now that doesn’t bring a lot of comfort; but think back to cramming for an exam, finishing that paper, or putting the final touches on your wedding day. Let it go, taking it one moment at a time.
But when you’re talking about day to day chaos, an environment that breeds only frustration and anxiety, when your outlook is only as hopeful as the sleep medication give rest — that’s a sure sign you need to look at how to reduce stress.
You need an intervention. Change needs to happen or life may get more complicated.
