So let’s get physical, physical…. (Olivia Newton-John. 1981)
The song is really good because its lyrics point us in the direction of intimacy, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
PHYSICAL: Exercise, intentional movement, is great for your body. Not only are you toning your body, but you are becoming stronger, healthier, and you have more energy! Bonus!!
The physical part of exercise affects the intensity level of CONNECTION.
MENTAL: Think about what exercise does to your body? What does it do for you mentally? Exercise reduces stress and increases confidence. It allows the mind to relax; therefore, you have more CLARITY in thought.
When you have clarity, your mind is free from stressors, plus you feel more confident. You LOVE your reflection more so than when you weren’t exercising. When you love you, you have more love to give and are more willing to be engaged in intimacy.
EMOTIONAL: Exercise has shown to elevate and stabilize your mood. You become emotionally balanced. When your mood is stable and steady, you’re less likely to let the piddly things bother you.
Are you buried in excuses?
