Who doesn’t need a little pick-me-up in the middle of the week? A moment, a breath when the weight feels lighter, and the horizon looks a little bit brighter? We all carry burdens that stretch us beyond what feels bearable. But God carries whatever we cannot carry. And in His hands, all things are made new.
This week, as we continue to walk through the sacred days of Holy Week, there’s a special invitation to dig deeper—beyond routine, beyond the surface—to what God truly desires for our hearts and lives.

Tonight is Maundy Thursday. This day centers on the Last Supper, the final meal Jesus shared with His disciples before His crucifixion. In this intimate moment, Jesus didn’t just gather His friends for a meal—He established Communion, offering bread and wine as powerful symbols of His body and blood, a promise of the new covenant between God and humanity. This act is the foundation for the hope we hold onto through Good Friday’s darkness and Easter’s light.
But Maundy Thursday goes even further, as the very name points us to a commandment (mandatum in Latin) given by Jesus to His disciples: to love one another, just as He has loved us. Jesus humbles Himself to wash the dirty feet of His disciples, serving those who would soon scatter in fear. This footwashing is more than a simple gesture; it’s a profound, deep-rooted call to love and serve one another with the same selfless heart He has shown. It’s a spiritual reset—a chance to allow God’s love to break through every hardened place in us and make us new.
All things are made new.
What if this Maundy Thursday, we followed His lead? What if we allowed ourselves to be vulnerable enough to accept His love—not just as a distant story but as an active force that floods in and breaks through every hard place?
The K.I.S.S. ~ All things are made new!
God doesn’t leave us weighed down by yesterday’s failures, today’s anxieties, or tomorrow’s unknowns. He promises restoration. Renewal. A fresh start in the very core of our being.
When Jesus says, “all things are made new,” He means everything—not just the big ticket items but the small cracks and worn places. The areas we tend to hide or neglect.
This isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Being present to the grace that sweeps in and says, “You don’t have to carry this alone.” It’s about courage to lay down old burdens and step into a future shaped by hope rather than fear.
So, if you find your spirit lagging this week, pause on this day of Maundy Thursday. Remember the humble feet washing, the selfless love, the Last Supper’s promise, and the certainty that no matter how tangled the struggle feels, God’s hands are steady, ready to make all things new.
Lean in. Receive that renewal, the refreshment. Let it fuel you to love more, forgive more, and live more fully. Because in God’s kingdom, every broken thing can be healed—and every heart can be reshaped and refined; all things are made new.
“Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!“
