It’s easy to hide behind a mask — the carefully crafted image of who you think you should be or what you don’t want anyone to see. Behind this disguise, you might feel safer, less vulnerable. But you cannot move forward or live the life you were meant to live with God’s divine purpose in mind if you’re trapped behind that mask. So, put down your mask.
Please put down your mask.

Be bold enough to show up with your flaws, your imperfections, your raw and real self. You don’t have to be perfect to create a beautiful life. Perfection is a mirage that keeps you stuck. Real progress comes when you shed the fear of judgment and embrace your authentic story.
Put down your mask.
Be honest with yourself and in your view of life. Stop wrestling your reality into something it’s not. Your circumstances — hard as they may be — don’t define your worth or your destiny. You are not your struggles, your failures, or your fears. Acknowledge them as part of your path without letting them box you in.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Put down your mask!
Be compassionate with yourself. You will stumble. You will make mistakes. That’s part of being human. Grant yourself the grace you easily offer to others. Don’t hold yourself to impossible standards. Growth requires patience, and forgiveness fuels resilience.
Be you. Not a version edited for approval or acceptance, but the real you — imperfect, evolving, courageous. Allow yourself to become who you’re meant to be, step by step, day by day.
“One step at a time leads to miles of greatness.” ~ Kristianne Wargo
So put down your mask. Take that step. Live your truth. The life waiting for you on the other side is far richer than any façade could ever be.
Put Down Your Mask
by Kristianne Wargo
Behind the glass of polished grace,
A shadow hides, a quiet place.
But masks, no matter how they shine,
Can never mirror your true spine.
You’ve held them up to shield the pain,
To hide the loss, to numb the strain.
But here’s the truth you need to hear—
The light inside grows strong and clear.
So shed the weight of perfect guise,
Let honesty unbind your eyes.
Your scars, your doubts, your fragile parts,
Are just the maps to your brave heart.
Be bold enough to stand, unmasked,
To speak your truth, to own what’s past.
Compassion’s not just for the world—
Gift it yourself, let grace unfurl.
Step by step, the journey’s made,
Not by rushing, nor by shade.
One foot forward, small and sure,
Leads to a life that’s rich and pure.
So put down your hard, guarded face,
And live in freedom, love, and grace.
For who you are, becoming true,
The world is waiting just for you.
“Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!“
