393 Come As You Are

Today, the challenge is to come as you are. No masks. No pretending. You are playing the game of life, not just Super Bowl 50th. 

Maybe you are headed out to a watch party for the Super Bowl or celebrating at home. Have you picked your team? The Carolina Panthers or the Denver Broncos.

How will you go to the party? As you? Or someone who is hiding, fearful of showing your true colors…what is really happening in your life. Hurts. Emotional strains. Physical pains. Financial distresses. Professionally and personally.

“We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” Romans 12:5

Come as you are!

What scares or frightens you about being you?

When the Super Bowl is done, and a winner is declared, they will go back to where they came from. Their lives that we don’t know. All we see is the surface at the game. There is a much deeper story to these teams and individuals.

When you go home after the Super Bowl is done and all the funny commercials are played, are you going home as YOU or someone who is still in hiding. Wanting more but not sure what to do, who to go to and who to be vulnerable to.
