In a world where busyness floods our daily lives, moments of true stillness—where there’s nothing demanding your attention—are rare. That constant pace, that nonstop noise, can drown out hope and leave you feeling overwhelmed before the day even begins. But here’s a truth that refuses to be drowned out: Tough times never last.
Tough people do.

When fear and doubt creep into your day, it’s easy to feel stuck, like nothing is moving or changing. That feeling isn’t because you’re powerless—it’s because your focus is misplaced.
“Your outlook shapes your reality. If your eyes are locked on the storm, you won’t see the silver lining just beyond the clouds.” ~ Kristianne Wargo
You don’t have to be frozen by fear. You’ve already pushed through hard days and nights before, and that’s because you hold onto a power far greater than your struggles. God has overcome the world—and YES, your darkest moments and toughest challenges.
So what does that mean for you today? It means you don’t have to fret over what’s beyond your control. Instead, surrender that to God and take command of what is within your reach.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Surrender and take command of what’s within your reach!
And your reach—it’s your own self-control, your own decisions, and your own attitude.
Don’t fret what you can’t control. Let God control while you are self-controlled, giving Him room to show you through your days of trial.
Hold steady and make room for God to light your way through the flames.
Here are three things you can do right now to ensure fear and doubt aren’t your focus, and hope remains right where it belongs—in your heart:
- Shift Your Perspective Daily
Don’t let your mind dwell on what’s wrong or scary. Each morning, remind yourself that the tough street you’re on is just a road to somewhere better. Your current situation does not write your entire story. - Anchor Yourself in Faith and Action
Prayer, meditation, or whatever your spiritual practice may be can ground you. But don’t stop there—take small, steady steps forward. When you act with faith, you break the cycle of helplessness. - Surround Yourself with Support
You weren’t meant to battle tough times alone. Seek out people who uplift and encourage you. Their strength can help reinforce your own, and together, resilience grows.
Remember, your circumstances don’t define your journey. They’re just the streets you travel on your way to the next turn. And when the road feels too tough, hold this in your heart: You’ve got this because God’s got you.
Tough times might bend you, but they won’t break you. Stand firm, lean in, and keep moving forward. The storm will pass—and what you’re building through it will last.
“Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!“
