When life feels like it’s crumbling down around you, it pushes you to think about your faith. Does God really hear me? Does He see what I need? Does He really care? Certainly, as you wrestle with living in an imperfect world, you want to know that God’s got you, somewhere, a sign of hope.
With every corner you turn and every valley you fall into, there doesn’t always seem to be that hope.

Your life might look a little messy with a health crisis, a troubling child, an unsettling relationship, a questionable career path, or an aging parent. As messy as the middle is, God is right there in the middle of it with you.
The Bible (Daniel 6) tells the story of Daniel and the Lion’s den, illustrating how unwavering faith can lead us through the most challenging of circumstances. God sent an angel and shut the mouths of the lions. Daniel was unharmed. But I guarantee you that in the circumstance, he was probably scared, nervous, yet faithful.
Just as Daniel trusted in God’s protection, we too can find strength in our faith during times of difficulty.
God’s presence is not always flashy or dramatic – He often reveals Himself in the small, everyday moments we may overlook.
What is different now is that God shows up in the blinks of your day. I like to call them the God winks in life.
He is not going to strike you with lightning, show up in the burning bush. But those nudges and tugs on your heart, the turning stomach with butterflies, or the thoughts you would not have thought– yea, that’s God.
The K.I.S.S. ~ A sign of hope!
When you spend time with Him and commune with Him, you are building your relationship. And that means, your faith is growing.
“Walk by faith, not by sight.” ~ 2 Corinthians 5:7
A sign of hope might be a stranger who said something to you, a neighbor who asked the right question, or your sweetheart who confirmed a thought in your head. The God winks in life are all around you. But you must believe in order to see. Walking by faith is not the tangible Moses moment with the burning bush.
Yes, God is omnipresent. He is within you, God the Holy Spirit.
So when your days seem darker than your nights, don’t forget to look for a sign of hope. The blessings are around you. The direction you need to go is before you. But you’ve gotta look in order to see.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct your paths.” ~ Proverbs 3:5-6
“Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!“
