In life, there seem to be more messes than blessings, but hope doesn’t come from what you bring to the table, what’s in your bank account, or your success. It comes from an open invitation, but have you RSVP’d?
In a world where routine can become comfort, change can often seem daunting. We find ourselves content in the familiar, hesitant to step into the unknown.

But what if the path less traveled is where we are truly meant to be? What if, like Paul in the Bible, we too can undergo a transformation that leads us to our purpose, our destiny?
In Acts 9:1-19, we see the incredible story of Saul, a man who once persecuted Christians, only to be struck down and blinded by a great light on the road to Damascus. Saul’s encounter with God transformed him into Paul, a devoted follower of Christ whose life’s work would shape the early Christian church.
Like Saul, many of us may find ourselves stuck in our own ways, blinded by our own perceptions and fears. We resist change, clinging to what is comfortable and familiar.
But God’s plans for us may require a shift in perspective, a willingness to step out in faith and embrace the unknown.
The K.I.S.S. ~ But have you RSVP’d?
Payne Stewart was a professional golfer known for his distinctive fashion sense and remarkable skills on the course. However, his legacy goes far beyond his achievements in golf. Leading up to his tragic death in a plane crash in 1999, many believe that Payne Stewart experienced a profound spiritual awakening that transformed his life.
Stewart had always been known for his fiery temperament and competitive spirit on the golf course. But as he journeyed deeper into his faith, he began to exhibit a newfound sense of peace and humility. Friends and fellow golfers noticed a change in him, as he became more focused on his relationships with others and less on his own success.
In the weeks leading up to the plane crash that claimed his life, Stewart reportedly spent more time with his family, cherishing moments with his wife and children. He also made a point to reach out to friends and colleagues, expressing his gratitude and love for them in a way he hadn’t before.
Tragically, Payne Stewart’s life was cut short in the prime of his golfing career. However, his newfound faith and the impact he had on those around him endured long after his passing. Many believe that his spiritual transformation in the final days of his life was a testament to the profound impact faith can have on a person, even in the face of tragedy.
In the end, Payne Stewart’s story serves as a reminder that true fulfillment and purpose can be found not just in success and fame, but in the relationships we cultivate and the faith we hold dear. His legacy lives on as a beacon of inspiration for those who seek to live a life of meaning and depth, grounded in faith and love.
