That world might be your kiddos, your spouse, your colleagues, your neighbors, a stranger in the grocery store.

But unfortunately, we get stuck in what should have happened. “If only” are not the way to lead your every day.

You get to shape what your day can become. You get to dance with your day that lights up your heart and impacts those around you.

You matter!

And maybe you haven’t heard that lately. No matter your labels (mom, dad, brother, sister, grandma, president, CFO), you matter.

Your crossroads don’t have to be filled with ditches that have you sinking all the time. In fact, you need to look at those ditches and see how you can best respond to them. (And sometimes, not at all.)

Pick up a shovel and start filling in the dirt. YES! — Do the work that no one else wants to. Learn more than you complain. Stop sitting side-saddle hoping someone else will figure it out for you.

You’ve got what it takes to do whatever it takes!

Oh– And with the shovel, let some of your doubt and misery be buried too. No one needs extra helpings of doubt and uncertainty.

You are made for more!

So if you’re dealt more, rise up faster and stronger. Leave the complaints for someone else. You don’t got time for this.

And just because you got it wrong, does not mean you will never get it right. Keep going! Keep after what matters.
