But what if, deep down, we know that this constant busyness and clutter is holding us back from truly living a life well-lived?
Renowned author and minimalist, Fumio Sasaki, once said, “Minimalism is about knowing my true needs, and saying goodbye to everything that doesn’t serve me well.”
These words carry an important message – that in order to live a life of purpose and meaning, we must learn to let go of the excess and focus on what truly matters.
Letting go of physical possessions can be a powerful act of liberation. It allows us to create space, both physically and mentally, for the things that truly bring us joy and fulfillment. As Marie Kondo, renowned decluttering expert and author, wisely advises, “The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past.”

But clutter isn’t limited to just physical belongings. Our lives can become packed with overflowing schedules, endless to-do lists, and commitments that drain our energy and leave us feeling overwhelmed. It’s important to recognize that our worth is not determined by how much we can fit into a day or how many tasks we can check off a list. Instead, our worth lies in our ability to be present, to connect with others, and to make a positive difference in the world.

It allows us to free ourselves from the shackles of materialism and busyness, enabling us to make space for the things that truly light us up – whether that’s pursuing a passion, spending quality time with loved ones, or engaging in activities that bring us peace and contentment.
