What are you doing special with your spouse this season? You don’t want to think of everyone else and leave them out in the cold. So, meet me under the mistletoe.
Yes, as married individuals, we tend to forget the importance of planning special times and moments for the ones we vowed to spend the rest of our lives with.

Why is that? Why do we sell them short of our attention and planning?
You don’t have to leave your sweetheart out in the cold. In fact, just tell him, “Meet me under the mistletoe.”
The K.I.S.S. ~ Meet me under the mistletoe!
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it’s easy to let our relationship with our spouse fall to the wayside. But this holiday season, let’s make a conscious effort to prioritize our partner and create meaningful experiences together.
Here are three things you can do to plan quality time with your spouse:
1. Schedule Present Nights: You can think of these as date nights. Set aside dedicated time each week solely for the two of you to reconnect and have fun. Whether it’s going out for a romantic dinner, taking a leisurely walk in the park, or even staying in and watching a movie together, make it a regular occurrence. By intentionally carving out this time, you’re showing your spouse that they are a priority in your life.
2. Surprise Gestures: Keep the spark alive by surprising your spouse with thoughtful gestures. It could be as simple as leaving a love note in their bag or sending a spontaneous text expressing your love and appreciation for them. Small acts of kindness and love can go a long way in nurturing your relationship.
3. Plan a Weekend Getaway: Take advantage of the holiday season by planning a weekend getaway with your spouse. Whether it’s a cozy cabin in the woods or a luxurious hotel in the city, escaping the daily routine and immersing yourself in a different environment can help reignite the romance and create lasting memories.
Remember, the key to planning time with your spouse is intentionality. Don’t let the pressures and distractions of life keep you from nurturing your relationship. By making your spouse a priority, you’re strengthening the bond you share and creating a deeper connection that will endure.
As I always say, “Love is not a noun; it’s a verb. It requires action, intention, and dedication. Make the choice to love your spouse every day and create your now!”
So this holiday season, meet me under the mistletoe and celebrate the love you share together.
“Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!“
