In life, we often strive to reach our destination. We set our sights on achieving success. But what if it’s not the destination, but the journey? Greatness comes in preparation.
Consider the life of Jesus Christ, whose journey toward spreading the “good news” was an everlasting inspiration to millions. Jesus did not simply appear on this earth and immediately begin His mission.

Instead, He walked amongst men, embracing the humanity and struggles that we all face.
Jesus’ journey was in preparation for greatness. It was in the moments of doubt, sacrifice, and perseverance that people came to truly know who He was. His impact was greater because he experienced the same challenges and temptations as his followers. His reach was broader because he understood the depths of human emotion, and was able to connect with people on a profound level.
You are on your own unique journey towards greatness. It is through the trials and tribulations, the ups and downs, that you develop resilience, wisdom, and compassion. The process shapes you into the person you are meant to be, molding you into vessels through which greatness can flow.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Greatness comes in preparation!
As the famous quote by Lao Tzu, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Each step you take, no matter how small, propels you forward on the path toward greatness. It is not solely about the end goal, but the transformation that occurs within yourself along the way. Embrace the process, for it is in preparation for who you are becoming.
In a world that often values instant gratification and immediate results, remember the wisdom shared through the timeless stories of the Bible. Abraham, Joseph, Moses, and countless others embarked on incredible journeys, filled with obstacles and setbacks, before reaching their ultimate destinies. It was through these journeys that they became instruments of change and touched the lives of many.
“The journey is the canvas on which greatness is painted.”
Philippians 1:6 – “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
So, my friend, do not be discouraged if your path seems long and winding. Embrace the challenges and setbacks, for it is in these moments that you are honing your skills, developing your character, and gaining the necessary wisdom to make a lasting impact. Greatness is not defined by a single achievement, but by the collective experiences and lessons learned along the way.
Greatness comes in preparation.
“Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!“
