Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His name. ~ Hebrews 13:15 (NIV)
When was the last time you praised God’s name?

Because I’m sure you’ve asked for more from Him than giving Him the praise He deserves.
Today, I want to remind you of the power and importance of offering gratitude and adoration to our Heavenly Father. It’s easy to get swallowed up by everything that’s going on in the world, and you lose sight of who’s in control.
And In a world where you often seek to present your needs and requests before God, it is crucial that you also understand the significance of praising Him for who He is and what He has done.
The K.I.S.S. ~ A Sacrifice of Praise!
1. Understanding the Nature of a Sacrifice:
Our journey as Christians is centered around sacrifice. Jesus Christ Himself was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, offering His life to bring salvation to the world. In light of His sacrificial love, we are called to mirror this sacrificial nature in our lives. What better way to do so than by offering a sacrifice of praise?
2. The Fruit of Our Lips:
God has given us a beautiful gift — the gift of speech. Our words possess incredible power, capable of both building up and tearing down. By offering praise, we channel this immense power toward honoring our Heavenly Father. Let our lips be the vessel through which gratitude, worship, and adoration flow nonstop, bringing glory to His name.
3. Openly Profess His Name:
We live in a world desperately seeking hope, searching for something to believe in. In such a time, we are called to boldly profess the name of Jesus Christ, the source of all hope, for the world to see. Our lives should reflect the glorious truth of the Gospel, drawing others closer to Him through our words and actions.
4. Continual Sacrifice:
The verse emphasizes “continually” offering to God a sacrifice of praise. Let us not limit our praise to specific moments or occasions alone. Instead, may our lives be a constant symphony of praise and worship, marked by hearts that overflow with thanksgiving and devotion. In every season, through every trial, and in every blessing, let our praises rise to the heavens.
As we reflect on Hebrews 13:15, let us respond to God’s call, surrendering our hearts to Him and offering a sacrifice of praise in return for His abundant grace, love, and mercy.
Let us rejoice, for our Savior lives! May the fruit of our lips openly profess His name, as we continue to offer our sacrifice of praise.
“Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!“
