When you are looking to live your best self, doing too much might not be what you need right now. Thrive in the smaller things that build consistency. As Deepak Chopra said, “You must find the place inside yourself where nothing is impossible.”
Truly, nothing is impossible, and you can live your thriving life; however, you cannot let yourself be bamboozled into doing stuff that is too over the top or extreme. Life is too short. Do what works now to build consistency.

Mitophagy is the essential process of breaking down and removing old and damaged mitochondria, allowing your brain and body to function at their best and maintain overall health. It’s a continuous journey that can be influenced by positive practices such as proper rest, physical activity, nourishing your body with nutritious foods, and taking care of your spiritual and emotional well-being.
Imagine building your mitochondrial health and, in return, witnessing a life of thriving. You can even think of mitophagy as a metaphor for change – intentionally breaking down and replacing bad habits with good ones to enhance our overall health. This is where thriving practices come into play.
A lot of people think they have to do something grandiose in order to impact their health. But take the small things and do them consistently, building a thriving life.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Build a thriving life in the smaller things!
Ready to explore a few tactics that will help you consistently thrive in your life?
1. Take a full day to unplug: In this digital age, it’s important to step away from constant distractions. Plan ahead and disconnect from phone calls, messages, and news for a day. Spend time in nature, go for a walk, or embark on a day-long hike. Embrace being fully unplugged and experience the psychological stress relief, reconnection with yourself, and appreciation of your surroundings. Feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
2. Sprinkle in small bursts of happy: Happiness is made up of small day-to-day moments. Invite more happiness into your life by incorporating small bursts of happy throughout your day. Send an email expressing gratitude, engage in a meaningful conversation with a friend, take a few seconds to help someone in need, or reflect on a past positive experience. These simple actions can contribute to a fulfilling and joyful life.
3. Seek out playful activities: Playfulness not only boosts happiness levels but is also crucial for brain health. Research has shown that engaging in playful activities activates specific areas of the brain and promotes neurodevelopment. So, make time for sports, games, or any other playful activities that make you dance. Remember, playfulness knows no boundaries.
4. Make self-care non-negotiable: Dedicate daily time to focus on activities that are solely for your own well-being. A quick midday walk will enhance your physical health and increase focus for the rest of the day. Regular meditation will cultivate patience in your interactions with loved ones. Carving out moments for projects or hobbies will bring balance, a sense of accomplishment, and happiness. Consider committing to an activity that requires regular practice or lessons, such as painting, woodworking, or rock climbing. The key is to prioritize self-care and schedule these activities into your life.
Are you ready to embrace the practices that will lead you to thrive consistently and live your optimal healthy life? Start implementing these tactics and witness the incredible transformation it brings. Your journey towards vitality and well-being awaits.
