It’s easy to get caught up in daily routines and responsibilities. Stop just going through the motions and commit to the art of the moment.
Because if you don’t, you forget the magic that life has to offer. We can go through the motions without really being present, quickly forgetting what just happened. But what if we were to lean in, being fully present in each moment?

What if the key to living a life of impact was simply the skill of presence, the art of the moment?
Presence is a valuable skill that can benefit not only the mind and spirit, but also the body.
Psalm 118:24 “This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Matthew 6:25-34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
These verses emphasize the importance of being present, living in the moment, and trusting in God’s providence.
Life is too short, but it’s also precious.
“What you see every day, needs to be experienced in every way. This is what defines the art of the moment.” ~ Kristianne Wargo
If you are going to do all that God has planned for you…
- You have to be willing to take risks.
- You have to be willing to persevere when you are exhausted.
- You have to be willing to expand your heart for what’s to come.
The art of the moment is not about what you remember it to be, but experiencing it in a way that moves the needle for all hearts to see.
However, it does not come easy. It’s a skill that needs to be learned and refined.
And one way to do this is through the power of iteration.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Use the power of iteration!
Now you might be questioning what I mean by iteration.
Iteration refers to the process of repeating a task or action, with the explicit goal of improving and mastering it over time.
By practicing presence in small moments throughout the day, such as sitting in traffic or enjoying a bite to eat, you can slowly become more aware of your surroundings and connect with the present moment.
That’s the art of the moment.
When you understand presence and it’s power, you’ll understand the profound impacts it can have on the mind, decreasing stress levels and increasing focus and clarity.
It can boost the body, as it allows you to be more aware of physical sensations and to be mindful of the food and drink you consume.
And it can nourish the spirit, helping you to connect with God and find joy and peace in the moments.
Being present in the moment takes practice, but the benefits are immeasurable.
By cultivating presence, we can begin to live a more impactful and fulfilling life, one that is fully connected to the world around us and for those we encounter on our journey.
Every moment is a gift — let us enjoy them fully.
CHALLENGE: Where do you fall on the presence scale?
Think of a number between 1 and 5, with 5 being so focused and intuned that you would burn through the floor if you were anything more.
Ultimately, living a life of presence is an art form worth mastering.
With each small moment, you have the opportunity to truly connect with your surroundings and impact the world that you touch.
Embrace the art and use the power of iteration to continually improve your skills and become more present every day.
Nothing is impossible when you fully commit to the art of the moment.
PRAYER: May your tomorrow be filled with the sweet fragrance of your presence today. Continue living out your calling, and may each step that you take draw you closer to His purpose.
