It’s time to raise the bar. No need to compare. No need to be filled with despair. Excellence at its best comes from when you play to your level. Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!
That was basically the message from the Head Coach of UConn, who earned the title of the NCAA Basketball Champions last night.

Nowadays, it appears that we have to beat each other up and down in order to be a champion.
But the UConn Huskies proved differently. An unranked team that gathered themselves and played to better themselves.
They didn’t need a particular ranking; what they needed was for each of them to show up every day and play to their level.
Are you doing just that?
Are you pretending you’ve got it all together?
Or are you ready….
The K.I.S.S. ~ Play to your level!
And that means focusing on your strengths and skills, and using them to the best of your ability. It means pushing yourself to improve, but not to the point where you’re overwhelmed or discouraged.
It means being realistic about your skills and setting attainable goals that will help you grow and develop, without setting yourself up for failure.
One of the most important aspects of playing to your level is having a growth mindset. Instead of viewing your abilities as fixed and unchangeable, embrace the idea that you can always learn and improve.
Even if you’re not the best right now, with practice and dedication, you can get better. Every step forward is progress, no matter how small.

And don’t forget to focus on your journey, and not compare yourself to others.
Everyone has their own unique path, and just because someone else is further ahead or more skilled than you, doesn’t mean you’re any less valuable or capable.
Celebrate your own successes and be proud of your progress, no matter how small it may seem.
And when failure does occur, because it will, remember that failure is not the end. It’s a natural part of the learning process, and everyone experiences it at some point. Instead of letting it discourage you, use it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Analyze what went wrong, figure out what you can do better next time, and keep moving forward.
With time and dedication, you’ll be amazed at how far you can go.
Congratulations to the UConn Huskies and the San Diego State.
