But if I can be ever so real with you. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean doing what you want when it’s easy. It’s about doing what is right majority of the time.
Now you get to define what majority is for you. Some like the 80/20 rule. Others have to be 100% or nothing.
There’s no right or wrong; just what works.
Because in the world we live in, it can be easy to overindulge and hurt our bodies. There is more package food there there is fresh food. Seems a little backwards.
Why are we eating food that’s not real?
So what if you could have your healthy lifestyle and enjoy a taste of something good?
Would you take the challenge to do your body well?
Of course you would. Let’s create fresh and hearty recipes.

And they can’t be just any recipes. You want to use as many fresh ingredients that you can.
Then, be sure to balance the meal you eat with proper macronutrients (fat, protein, carbs).
When you do so, you’ll feel more energized and have the endurance to get through your day without acting like a sloth.
A sloth hasn’t won the Super Bowl!
Keep your eyes focus on what’s real. If there’s more packaged food in the recipe, toss out the recipe. Stick to what your body craves.

Some of what we need to do is find a way to take care of ourselves and still have fun. And that’s what fresh & hearty recipes are all about.
- Slow-Cooker Chili: This classic dish is a staple of any Superbowl party. Simply combine beef, beans, tomatoes, spices, and onions in a slow cooker and let it cook until the beef is tender. Serve with a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese, and cornbread for a comforting meal.
- Baked Sweet Potato Fries: A healthier alternative to traditional French fries, sweet potato fries are baked in the oven with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and your favorite spices. Serve as a side dish or as a snack.
- Grilled Chicken Wings: Marinate chicken wings in your favorite sauce, grill until crispy, and serve with a side of blue cheese dressing for dipping. A crowd-pleaser that is both healthy and delicious.
- Veggie Platter: Cut up a variety of fresh veggies, such as carrots, celery, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes, and serve with a healthy dip, like hummus or ranch. A great way to add some color and nutrition to your spread.
Eating doesn’t have to be a chore. Eating doesn’t have to wrinkle your nose. Eating can be enjoyed all the time; a taste for something good.
So take what God has made and create some dishes that serve your body from the inside out. Let your family and friends know how much they’re loved by the good food you serve. And remember, it’s a party every day!!
