Do you ever find people (and even family) who seem to be playing “angry birds”. No matter what happens, they’re fussy, aggravated, and upset.
It would be a lot simpler if it was just a game. But when you tug at heart strings, that’s NOT a game!
The K.I.S.S. ~ Be TRUTHFUL to Yourself?
- Are you short-tempered, quick to jump?
- Does the tone of your voice have a bite or sharpness to it?
- Do you feel yourself get “hot under the collar”?
- Reflect on situations where you’ve been “hot to trott”. Was it really worth the energy?
- Who are you hurting?
This is the beginning to the reflection of angry birds. We may joke, but this needs to be taken seriously.
Without seeking help from a counselor or coach, angry birds will be a game that destroys relationships ultimately.
Go and be truthful! Moms, we have a tough job. You carry a heavy load. Let’s begin to work on ways you can release those angry birds.
