“Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong.” ~ Peter T. McIntyre
Living in the world of technology with Google, Wikipedia, or Siri, can totally add to the “perfection” world…ALWAYS being right. Being wrong in a right world.
One day I was asked by my son, “Well, Mom. Are you right?”. I didn’t respond immediately. But he quickly replied, “You always have to be right.”
That got me thinking. I told him honestly that I may not know everything, but what I do know comes from studying and living life.
The thing is a lot of the time confidence in one’s self come from being right. But really, it’s the acceptance of being wrong that gives/brings confidence. If everything is always right, how can being wrong RE-BUILD you? Great question!! Being WRONG opens the door to learning, growing and excelling to your best selfie.
