Do you LOVE food? I certainly did growing up and even when I wasn’t growing up. Food became a serious addiction whether it was the sweets, tasty and savory or the yummy cold treats.
Eating out of habit. Eating because I could. Eating to EAT!! When would the madness stop? Oh, and eating because it’s the movies, I’m STRESSED, or ready to celebrate.
Regardless if it was a break up that led me to the ice cream, or all “A’s” on my report card, food was my addiction.
So how can this help you?
The K.I.S.S. ~ Be aware WHY you eat!
Ask yourself the following….
- Am I hungry? Drink a glass of water; wait 10 minutes and see if you’re still hungry.
- What can I have that’s better fuel for my body?
- What my attachment to this food?
- BONUS – Don’t go shopping when hungry. Remember to take your water bottle with you while shopping.
